About Us

The Swedish Space Weather Centre is part of the Solar Terrestrial and Atmospheric Research programme (STAR) at the Swedish Institute of Space Physics (IRF). We have been active in space weather at IRF since late 1990's and provided a web site with space weather information and predictions.

SRC conducts solar and space weather research and provides forecasts, warnings and observations of space weather conditions. SRC hosts Regional Warning Center - Sweden (RWC) since 2000 within the International Space Environment Service (ISES).
